I began my training under the supervision of my own mother, a Naturopathic Doctor, at the age of 21. I was born at home and witnessed my brother's delivery at an early age, so home birth and the natural process of childbirth felt like second nature to me. After attending many deliveries as a birth assistant, I decided to dive deeper into the study of normal, physiologic pregnancy and childbirth. I attended the Midwifery program at Bastyr University in Washington state and broadened my clinical skills and understanding as well as my herbal training to support birthing people with a focus on herbal medicine and evidence-based, client-led care.
