I’m Esma — a certified birth and postpartum doula based in sunny south Maui. As your birth and postpartum doula, I offer support as you navigate the transformative period that is pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I'm here to help you feel held, heard and seen during this transformative and exciting period. In addition to doula care, I provide perinatal nutrition-focused meal prep, respite nanny services, and more — drawing on my experience in public health and as a holistic nutritionist, community herbalist, and childcare professional.

Rates of Service
$50 per hour for daytime postpartum care, for four to twelve-hour shifts, and $1 per mile fee for locations more than 20 min from Kihei. Sliding scale available.
About the Provider
I weave together diverse knowledge and lived experiences in my support of new parents — having come to the world of birthwork from years of study in preventative medicine, with a Bachelor's of science in Public Health, and through many years working as an au pair and professional nanny. My greatest hope is to be your modern-day village, bridging you with community resources and tending to you to prevent feelings of isolation, stress, self-doubt, and burnout. I believe that care and support for new parents should extend far after birth: new parents deserve to be listened to, supported, and cared for from the ground up as they navigate the fourth trimester. In addition to my other degrees and qualifications, I am a Certified Nursing Assistant, am CPR and First Aid Certified, and have passed a criminal background check.
