People Attentive to Children (PATCH) is a community service organization dedicated to supporting Hawaii’s child care needs. We help families find the right child care. We offer FREE resources on choosing and paying for child care, child development, parenting, becoming a child care provider and other useful resources right at your fingertips.

About the Provider
Resource and Referral Program: Help you find and select quality child care. We refer you to Hawaii's licensed preschools, child care centers, and family child care homes. Training Program: Train you on child care basics, child development, infant and toddler care, and more. PATCH offers over 100 free classes, in person and online, open to all. Recruitment Program: Assists you to become a licensed home-based family child care provider. Preschool Open Doors: Provides tuition assistance so more kids attend preschool to better prepare for kindergarten. Scholarships: Reimburses you for completed Early Childhood Education college credits or Child Development Associate (CDA) and renewal fees. Hawaii DHS Early Childhood Registry: Tracks professional development and offers career counseling for current or soon-to-be practitioners of Early Childhood Education. and more!
