About the Provider

I refer to myself as a Spiritual Midwife because I see birth as a spiritual event. Midwives are the "guardians at the gate" of the birth process. Practicing Midwifery has been the greatest passion of my life. Guiding and empowering women on the journey of motherhood is incredibly rewarding. * I started out as an apprentice for a few years before attending midwifery school at "Maternidad La Luz" 1989, and I have been practicing ever since. I taught Midwifery as a Staff Midwife at "Maternidad La Luz" in El Paso Texas for 3 years. I got my NARM CPM certification in 1997. I have practiced in India, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and in many parts of the states. I have served hundreds of families through the years, and continue to do so with passion and Joy. Midwifery is a labor of Love. I spend most of my time gardening on my sweet little farm in Kapoho, growing herbs, flowers, fruits, and veggies. My favorite affirmation : "I go forth in Perfect Faith, in the Power of Omnipresent Good to bring me what I need at the time I need it."
