My story in a nut shell: I currently live in beautiful Upcountry Maui where I grew up, with my husband Anthony, two year old son Gavin, two Australian shepherds and two cheeky cats. We are both huge animal lovers and love growing our own food. There’s nothing more satisfying than a meal cooked straight from the garden. My photography story started like most, with my Dad’s love for film. He had documented his whole life with photographs, and I loved going through his old pictures that always accompanied stories of how he traveled the world. Little did I know how these stories and photographs inevitably would shape me into the person I am today. So it was only natural that I choose photography as an elective in high school, not to mention the super cool revolving door that lead you into the mysterious dark room. I spent many hours in that dark room. It was a good escape from the formidable reality of high school and later college. I have always been an advocate to follow your dreams. Now I get to live out my dream as I document my son growing up on this small beautiful island, while showing him this big diverse world we live in.
